This is just a short brief for those who are going to university next year or soon...
Before this, let me imply that,
This is solely based on an introvert student,
and 18 years in Malaysia.
subjective and only in my opinions,
- Lectures just like history subject, every students went there to sleep...(1st day 200 students, now 50 students)
- Lecturers don't care the your existence, they just come and go..
- Lecturers are no different from students in secondary schools, thanks to the powerpoint,
like what we did in secondary presentation.. bla bla bla thank you.
- Never ask the lecturer question, it's noob and pointless..
Here a scenario
Day1
me:"Sir, can you help me in XXXXXXXX"
lecturer :" sure bla bla bla"
me:"blur*"
lecturer:"don't worry your tutor will teach you"
Day 2
"Sir can you help in XXXX"
"write jot scribble*"
"*blur*"
"don't worry, next week your lecturer will teach you about it"
Worst Case Scenario
Day XXXX
"Sir can you show me the way of putting this programming code? I don't get it"
"Well.. it's easy if you don't understand, just use your cursor and point at the word,
the definition IS there"
"....... (as if the definition teach you how code it. zzzz)"
- expect lots lots lots of never-encounter-syllabus"
"SIR, may i know what is
?""Sure, and i thought your high school lecturer taught you about it?"
"..................."
Just like a little boy don't even know what is 1+1 = 2 and you taught him 1 X 1 = 1
- prepared to be a genius to understand everything (1 chapter in 2 pages.. I am not genius)
Finally,
"google your solution.. you are no longer a baby boy depend on the lecturers, they expect you to do that too.. they are very busssssssyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yeeahhhh~"
That's the reason, I ponteng almost 90% of the units.. it's pointless.."
Google, google, or library your question.
- No proper guidance..
Math.. Full of words words words and definition definition..
1 chapter in 2 pages.. =.="
Sample => 0 ~ 2
Those exercise that gave in the tutorial is the best!
Students are expected to prepare for laboratory/practical sessions. The laboratory/practical should be a session where you clear up outstanding coding problems NOT where you begin coding!
Ahahahahaha.. lab.... hehehehehe
Ask other friends? Sorry I too noob, My friends are less than the number of my fingers.
Textbook? Exercise book?
They show us the recommended book..
Those recommended book... words words words definition definition zzz..
I want Sasbadi, Pelangi, or WORKED SOLUTION!!!
no words and explanation pls zzzz...
Hmph.. basically that's the education in University..
Remember, everything is on your own..
Library, google, and friends..
But... i will not blame the University,
"When you point at someone, another 4 fingers are pointing back at you"
Maybe, it's my fault that.. I didn't listen in the lecture?
Maybe, it's my fault that.. I didn't do enough research?
Maybe, it's my fault that.. I rely TOOOOOOOO much on tuition?
Maybe, this is Uni.. I shall say that... Don't rely on others.. You are on your own now..
Everybody.. is just a passer-by
Everything.. is defined at the first place
To me.. I still get to Dota and finish my Kingdom Hearts 2 during the easter break...
I am sure enjoy a comfortable life..
GG... lol..
That's me, and
palapapapa I'm loving it
Stress? ahahahahahahahahaha one of my friend has inspired me by saying
"Stress? *laughed* you are giving yourself stress..
you seek for stress, and therefore you have stress,
don't stress yourself, it's pointless..
and when you stress, relax...
soon you will realise that,
when you relax you work better"
and of course this quote is vary from person to person
some might work EVEN better when they are stress?
Nevertheless...
Dota anyone?

LOL..thats basically Uni life lore..hahah...must be dependent mar...thats what my course is trying to make me and my classmates work also..Dont worry about bo friends..give it sometime then you will make some der
ReplyDeleteagreed with Hen Yu... but guess here is still better compared to overseas. There they expect you to be more independent compared to here.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck man!!!
... btw, get a c-box man. Easier to comment in your blog. Well if you want to that is =)
where is the picture i called u to poast ah??
ReplyDeleteanyway, welcome to uni life.
basically what lecturer did was right to u. not at least they spoon feed u on everything. u just have to learn urself sometimes. read up the chapter b4 the lecturer starts teaching. got problem find the solution 1st b4 asking ur tutor or lecturer. listen or see carefully what teacher say.
hope it helps. :)
賜你三字真言:靠自己… ^^
